Matt,
I was waiting for folks with more experience to jump in here, but since they
haven't replied yet I'll give this a shot. According to my notes, the ONLY
place in the world that offers this service is a lab in Germany
[http://www.andecfilm.de/]. I have no personal experience with them, but I
found a reference that I copied into my notes saying that they can print neg
to pos in COLOR. I verified this on their site this morning.
Another option, which you probably already know, but in case you don't, is
that most everyone shooting negative stock use it as the first stop to
telecine. With this said, you theoretically could print to telecine and use
Alpha Cine Lab [http://www.alphacine.com/] to print telecine to film which
is one of the specialized services they offer.
I would love to hear how you resolve this problem.
Mark

Subject: Printing super 8mm film...
Hello everyone-
I recently shot some super 8mm negative. Is there anyplace (lab) on the
planet that I can get a positive print made?
Chances are looking pretty slim as my research has turned up pretty much
nothing, and I know that s8 printstock was discontinued in the early
2000's -- but any advice, suggestions of possible workarounds/ jury-rigs
etc. would be greatly appreciated.
thanks
Matt Geiger
