howya folks!
this is a question for the US crew:
i'm wondering how i can write off film expenses when doing my taxes ... right now i'm on a W4 at the regular gig so can't write off anything against that (used to have a few 1099s, which helped, but not any more) ... heard I might be able to use schedule C but think i need some kind of income to write the expenses off against ...?
any hot tips? (i'm in nyc, if it makes a difference?)
