All copyright renewal records now online and searchable

For atopia (Gene) and others who have been asking recently about what and if
something is in copyright, and where to find out, here's some good news:

Apparently Google has scanned all the copyright records, put together those
that the LC has, and then written a search engine for them.
 
Not sure if this includes works besides books, but it's a start. Now you
don't have to hire a lawyer or fly to a depository to see what's what and where,
or if....
