Jack Chambers' R-34 is really a great film, a spring-loaded portrait of the incredible (and under-appreciated) Canadian collage artist Greg Curnoe: a true collaboration between two friends of parallel artistic energies, made at the height of their powers. I believe Brakhage called it one of the greatest artist portrait films.
Wish I could be there!
