MAGA Call for entries -
The Macon Georgia Film and Video Festival (MAGA) is now accepting entries
for
the 2009 festival to be held in historic downtown Macon on February 19th
22nd.
Deadline for Submissions: November 15, 2008

2009 MAGA submissions will be considered for competition in one of the
following categories:
Experimental
Animation
Documentary
Narrative Feature
Narrative Short
Student Film
The Macon Film and Video Festival is excited to announce that the 2009
festival will
award almost $11,000 in prize money to 2009 festival winners including a
$1,000
'Best in Show' award. Prize money will be awarded to the top three winners
of each
category in the amount of $750.00, $600.00, and $400.00.
The Festival is open to filmmakers working in all media, genres, and themes.
Features and shorts of all styles and lengths are eligible for submission to
the
2009 festival if completed after January 1, 2007. Student films are
welcomed.
