Hello,

Please mark your calendars for a three night screening series, Oct
1-3, a survey of experimental film and video work made by women
artists in the U.S. from the 1940's to the present. All screening
will be held at ISSUE Project Room in Brooklyn at 8 p.m. Admission
for each night will be $10.

Guest curators programming the screenings: Oct 1st -- MM Serra of the
Film-maker's Cooperative; Oct 2nd -- Rebecca Cleman of Electronic
Arts Intermix (EAI); Oct 3rd -- Marie Losier of FIAF and Ocularis.
Highlights include new work from Martha Colburn and Shannon Plumb as
well as gems from Peggy Ahwesh (STAR EATERS, 2003) and Sara-Kathryn
Arledge (INTROSPECTION from the early 40's -- a rarely screened
early dance film financed in part by Maya Deren).

Attached image is a still from Martha Colburn's MYTH LABS (2008)
which will be presented as part of the series by Marie Losier on Oct
2nd. The blog below will eventually contain a complete break down,
organized by evening, of films and videos to be screened:
