I have a colleague who does a lot of experimental performance in
virtual worlds:

Jeremy Turner is his real name.
We've screened "Avatara" in Second Life. It's a feature-length
experimental doc shot entirely inside an old-school 2-d animated chat
system from the mid-nineties, sort of a low-tech precursor to Second
Life that still exists tentatively.

We had trouble with longer video clips screening, perhaps shorter
segments would work better.
Jeremy would know more about this topic.
Or, as he says, you could always get a real life:
Ha ha,
Flick
