My hope with work like this is that the remixing accents, reinterprets,
subverts, or just generally interacts and communicates with the original. I
don't immediately see a commentary of, or dialogue with, Angel Sanctuary. I
wonder about the visual and audio looping, and how I don't feel taken
anywhere by it. I think in this case, repetition becomes a tediousness that
removes the piece entirely from the original material. In my honest
opinion, this piece might as well be made up of looping flashes and sounds.
