It's been my experience that every lab who develops S8 will develop R8 film.
AlphaCine lab in Seattle is where I get my film developed and they don't
list R8 film on their list of services.
Now that I type this, perhaps more accurately it is every lab who processes
16mm can develop R8 since it is the same width before splitting.

-- From: Experimental Film Discussion List [mailto:email suppressed] On Behalf Of Jonathan Walley Sent: Thursday, October 16, 2008 4:00 PM To: email suppressed Subject: Regular 8mm Hi Frameworkers, Can anyone recommend a good source for regular 8mm film? I know of 8mmfilmstock.com, but they have a 10 roll limit, and I'm not sure I want that many rolls (but if anyone can tell me anything about 8mmfilmstock.com I'd appreciate it). Thanks!
