I've just hired Raygun Virus from the LUX in London. The print was 400', but
it's a fifteen minute film, so I ran it at 18fps. Presumably, therefore,
Sharits would have made it to be shown this way, although other prints I've
hired have been longer and I've run them at 24fps.
The consequences of stretch-printing a film of this nature are highly
significant, even though it's not very flickery, and obviously the sound is
quite different.
Can anyone shed some light on this?
Nicky Hamlyn.
