In 1994, San Francisco Cinematheque and SixPack Film produced a touring series titled AUSTRIAN AVANT-GARDE CINEMA: 1955–1993. This was accompanied by a monograph of the same title which features about 1 page and a half on Ponger, including a statement on SEMIOTIC GHOSTS (1990-1991). I'm sorry to say that this book is out of print and there are none available for purchase. It was circulated fairly widely, so it might be in libraries or some other institution.
Does this help? Hope it does a little...
