Matt McCormick, as many on Frameworks know, is a Portland-based
artist and filmmaker.
His work blurs the lines between documentary and experimental
filmmaking to fashion witty
observations of contemporary culture and the urban landscape. He
has made videos for
The Shins, YACHT and Sleater Kinney, and the voice of Miranda July is
featured in his "Subconscious Art of Graffiti Removal." Matt is also
the founder of the video label Peripheral Produce and the Portland
Documentary and eXperimental Film Festival.
