Deadline for entries: December 2, 2008.

16mm or Super 8 film under 22 min in length. MUST be able to provide
a Super 8 or 16mm film print for exhibition.
Official release date after December 1, 2006.

The Calgary Society of Independent Filmmakers is pleased to present
the annual $100 Film Festival from March, 2009. The festival embodies
the spirit of low-budget, independent filmmaking and brings the
experience of projected celluloid to our audience by only screening
film prints. It is the only competitive festival in Canada that
screens exclusively on Super 8 and 16mm film. The $100 Film Festival
does not charge any entrance fees and pays artist fees for all films
selected for the festival. The selected films will also be eligible

La société de Calgary des réalisateurs de film indépendants est
présenter le 17ième festival de film à $100 en Mars 2009. Le festival
incarne l'esprit du bas-budget, cinéma indépendant et apporte
l'expérience du celluloïde projeté à notre assistances. C'est le seul
festival concurrentiel au Canada qui des écrans exclusivement sur le
film Super 8 et de 16mm. Le festival de film à $100 ne charge aucun
entrée et paye des honoraires d'artiste tous les films choisis pour le
festival. Les films choisis seront également habilités pour prix de

La Sociedad de Cineastas Independientes de Calgary (CSIF) se
enorgullese al presentar el Festival de Cine de $100 anual desde el 12
al 14 de Marzo, 2009. El festival incorpora el espíritu del cine
independiente y trae la experiencia del celuloide proyectado a nuestro
publico mostrando solamente cortes de film. Es el único festival que
exclusivamente muestra Film en Super 8 y 16mm. El Festival de Cine de
$100 no cobra inscripción y paga honorarios para todos los trabajos
seleccionados para el festival. Los films seleccionados calificarán a

Championing independent filmmaking for 30 years and counting!
Established in 1978, the CSIF is a member-driven cooperative that
encourages and supports the production and exhibition of independent
film. The CSIF celebrates its 30th Anniversary in October 2008, so
