I traveled / shot in SE Asia and just requested hand-checks at every
security point. It wasn't a problem. Just hand over the catridges when you
walk through.
Many of the xray machines claim to be "film safe." Shot on ektachrome
64T. Sent it through the xray once by accident. No harm. Multiple passes
would have been a risk, though.
