Hi folks,
A question, related to the last post I made about Gary Beydler's films. Normally, I would never get any print Photogarded (or scratch guarded or coated with anything at all), but as these new polyester prints of Gary's are not crucial as archival elements, and as I imagine they might rent quite a bit, I'm thinking I might suggest to Gary he get them coated to help protect against scratching.
Anyhow, I don't know how many places still do this in 16mm, and how reliable they are, so could someone give me some info on the current state of scratch-guarding?
