It might also be a broken drive belt. You can get replacements
from Steenbeck. You need to open it up and have a look, e.g. just
take off the back plate and look what happens when you try to
run it - don't touch anything inside when the power is connected!!!.

Subject: steenbeck wont go suddenly

Hi. I urgently need help.
Oh and this is my first post. I'm from Filmbee collective in Newcastle, North East UK.
Our steenbeck which we use to print with stopped running tonight. Everything else works
it's just that nothing goes round. It Stopped, started again stopped again and will go no more.
Has anyone come across this before and have any advice?
It's pretty desperate as we're supposed to be using it as part of a performance tomorow night.

Cheers

Mat
