Hiya Ken,
Lens baby in S8 sounds like an intresting idea.
PL is the standard mount on more modern Arri film cameras.
C mount is a shallow mount near the film plane so it should be possible to get a c mount to PL converter.
Optex make one.
Theres one here from visual products:

Various other places too and they occasionally crop up on ebay.
