New Yorker Films out of business

Reposting this from the filmprogrammers list, but for those who
haven't heard yet:

This article doesn't mention what's happening to the prints, sadly.
Since they're now considered assets, I fear they are headed for some
Raiders of the Ark scenario, to say nothing of the films currently out
on loan.

Anyone out there heard what's happening to the films?
