Hi all--during the past three years I been participating in the Havana Film Festival showing experimental films from the United States. In 2007 it was the first time that the Festival accepted experimental cinema as part of the festivities. I showed my films, along with Philip Hoffman. The screeenings were an extreme success. So much so, that I have returned there and plan to travel again, in December to be part of the Festival. I have met many young Cuban filmmakers who are in a severe need of video cameras. The Cuban people are very poor and there are no public resources available for filmmakers. I am looking for donations of used or unwanted video cameras. What I would like to bring down are good working condition 3 chip mini dv cameras. If you have upgraded to HD and are no longer in need of your old video cameras, please contact me. Alas I cannot afford to pay for them, however, I am willing to pick up the cameras or pay for shipping and insurance.
I can also let you know who is the recipient of the camera that was donated. Please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you in advance on behalf of the Cuban filmmaking community.

Please email me off the list email suppressed

Thanks

Dominic Angerame
