FYI, I saw a great combo last year at the Pacific Cinematheque, the
film Film in combination with a new play by Sherry MacDonald about the
making of the movie. Really interesting way to be introduced to it,
what with the clowning, drunken playwrite, etc. and the focus on the
novice director Alan Schneider trying to anchor his vision to two
hardened vets. Film was first and then the play.

The damfino theatre site is down for some reason right now... but the
script is available in book form.
