hi,
I have a kodascope 8 80 that I'm not using & I think
it would be better suited in the hands of someone who is
going to make use of it. it has what looks like
the original case and some take up reels as well.
its a quite beautiful piece of equipment was clearly
made with care and sturdiness in the 30s. I think the
depression was on then. Its beautiful just to look at,
to be honest, thinking of how things were made then and
imagining every spirit that has owned the little projector
and replaying in your mind the films that have been
projected. I picked it up when I was living in DC in
2004/05 and have had it with me since. I can take pictures
of it for posting, if anyone is interested.
I'd rather that you know what you are looking for and
just come to check it out. I don't have the
manual or any 8 mm reels, so, if you come to check it out,
you'll be on your own to figure everything out. It turns
on fine. I'm not really going to go through the process of
shipping it anywhere. If anyone is in NYC and is interested
in coming by and checking out and and picking it up directly
from me that would be best. $100 firm.
I'm in the process of reconfiguring the items in my
life and so will be posting the sale of a few film/video
related items over the next few days and weeks.
