Hi Ashley,

Sorry to be so late in responding. I just finished a short piece on film,
and I used Stan Sztaba, who is apparently the only negative cutter still
working in New York City. He seemed very conscientious and did a nice job
for me. I had few cuts, but with the set up, materials, etc. I paid about
$150.00 for the negative cut. Friends of mine who were looking at the same
time were being quoted $400 and more for a short film negative (I don't know
how many cuts). Stan's e-mail is
