That's $8.80 an hour, to live in L.A, during the summer, for a skilled job.
 
It's doubtful that an underrepresented student who needs to make money
during the summer-- and is that skilled-- will be able to take these jobs. A
paid rate like this during the school year makes more sense instead.
 
So--as always-- these kind of prestige internships will end up going to the
 more affluent class of students. That's not right. How about $3500 a
month?
