You can go right down the street to Lincoln Center Library for the Performing Arts, Reserve Film and Video Collection. Material needs to be booked in advance for either on-site viewining or borrowing.
Check the Library's LEO catalog (nypl.org) for circulating copies at other libraries, that would be available for immediate borrowing, providing they are checked in.
