Try doing a live-trace in Adobe Illustrator to convert them to vectors... Or
if you donıt have Illustrator handy, use this free online Vectorizer:
http://vectormagic.com/home
After theyıre vectors, you will be able to scale them infinitely large
without a loss of quality.
You can also try this vector EPS version
http://www.scabby.ca/downloads/Film_fest_palms%20.eps and open it in
illustrator to edit it any way you want.
