When I went there to re-print, I was told by Howard Funsch that there
would be outrageous storage fees -- fees that were not only exorbitant,
but more
importantly that I was simply unable to pay in any case.
Always check with an attorney about this kind of thing. Not only does NY
have a clear statute of limitations on collecting a debt, but NY probably
also has express laws regarding storage facilities and noticing requirements.
NEVER make a deal or agreement on your own. If a lab is "willing" to
renegotiate a charge, it only means they know they can't collect the whole
thing. But any proven agreement on the part of a debtor will also immediately
reaffirm the debt, even if it was untimely.
