I know we dealt with this at FLEX. The venue we rented only could do
1.85 (flat) and 'Scope. Only had gates & lenses to accommodate those
two options. We ended up having a lot of other aspect ratios (1.33,
1.37, 1.66), and had to rent lenses and buy gates for them. Again,
this is something that I think conscientious festivals will do, but
our projectionist was ready to just run everything at 1.85. They
couldn't figure out why I was making such a big deal about it...
