Is anyone familiar with the particular focusing properties of the wide angle lens adapter for the Canon 1014XLS super 8 camera?
Given the extremely wide angle of view, I mistakenly assumed that I could 'select' a particular area within the frame in which to focus. Many images shot with this adaptor came out soft, others entirely sharp.
I'm presuming that I should have used the split screen in the center of the lens, exclusively. And this issue is germaine to any wide angle lens, not just the Canon one for Super 8 cameras.
Advice??
Many thanks, Ken
