That's funny, I had a similar but opposite experience. When I was 20,
I made a very labor-intensive 45 minute video over the course of a
year. The blacking and editing equipment at the school was faulty, so
both the edited tapes and originals were eaten by white noise within
several months. That's when I vowed never to use VIDEO again!
