That is not necessarily true, any ECN would be washed and buffed by
backing removal which is basically a llight borax wash tank which
would take everything off and then the buffers/backing removal would
make the film nice and clean before going into the developer.
I would want to know so it could be run separately from any other film
just so any mess could be cleaned up on the load elevator before non
effects film was run.
