Hi All,
JK has a mount to place an SLR camera(like a Canon Rebel) on an Optical Printer. This will give theoretically as good as transfer as possible, down to the grain. However, there are two complications that I have heard. One, that SLR cameras have a maximum amount of photos that they can take (something like 150,000 or so, which would be quickly exhausted with a 1:1 capture of films) and two, that there is a shifting from frame to frame, due to unsteadiness of the printer, making the picture bounce around.
If anyone has information and can share it, it would be greatly appreciated. I get conflicting views on the web, so I would like to see if someone here can clarify. Thanks!
Jay
