The Department of Media Studies at Catholic University of America seeks a Clinical Assistant Professor (non-tenure track) specializing in video production to begin September 1, 2010. CUA's Department of Media Studies offers an interdisciplinary undergraduate major with a humanities focus; candidates should possess a Ph.D. or MFA in a relevant field and have a proven record of excellence in teaching media production. Teaching load is 3/3 including introductory core, intermediate, and advanced courses. Focus on documentary, experimental, and/or community film and video. An interest in service learning is particularly desirable.
