Hey Gene -
Screen capture can capture at HD or better resolutions, and you don't
get the moire effect from shooting. If you shoot 300x300 pixels
you'll be shooting only 300x300 pixels, so it is a creative or budget
driven decision to screen capture, shoot or animate on-screen
activities. If you have the time, you can do it however you want to
do it. I would recommend using screen capture software on yoru
editing system - it'll have the disk speed to capture high quality
signal, and you cna directly pop it into the timeline and see what you
have. If you want to animate it or shoot it, you can then use this
screen captures as a guide or source for later works...
