Hi,
I just re-joined this list recently. Haven't had time to catch up
with any threads, but noticed the sensory overload subject line.
In the past, I did a lot of flicker videos, inspired by people like
Tony Conrad, Paul Sharits and some of Pat O'Neill's early work. Some
of my old videos are on Teh YouTubes if anyone wants to take a look.
There are a few other really intense ones I haven't yet posted... in
particular, "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell."
The whole philosophy behind my early videos was sensory overload.
They did get some festival screenings in their day. Don't know if
they are too old, the most recent one dates from 1998. But here's the linkage.
