University libraries, and some larger urban libraries in the US can
obtain dissertations through interlibrary loan. Dissertations are
also available in a variety of ways from UMI which sells them in a
variety of formats (electronic, physical, microfilm, etc.). Many
colleges and universities can access recent dissertations at other
institutions if you are a student or faculty.
