I think your problem might just be that this film doesn't exist. There's
"Hand Catching Lead" and "Hands Scraping [Lead]," but no "Splashing"--
though the photos of this piece are famous. They're dynamic enough (quoting
Pollock and Millet) that your prof might've inadvertantly "animated" them.
Serra's films and videos are, to my knowledge, always works in themselves,
never straightforward documentation. The films are easy to find (youtube,
MoMA, video art compilations), as are the photos.
