Thanks to everyone who had suggestions for locating Jonas Mekas' Movie Journal The Rise of New American Cinema, I have since gotten a copy and can't believe that I didn't get it sooner. What a wonderful and insightful read.
I was wondering if anyone might have contact info for Vera Chytilova or point me in the direction of locating some of her films, a Czech distributor, etc? I know that Dasies and Fruit of Paradise (thank you Facets!) are available in the US but would love to locate some of her other works as well. Please feel free to contact me off-list. Any leads are greatly appreciated!
