Subject: [FRAMEWORKS] Bearded Child/ ARKUFF

Hello all,

The Bearded Child Film Festival will be hosting a screening of weird/underground contemporary films at the Arkansas Underground Film Festival, June 18-20, 2010, in Hot Springs Nat'l Park, Arkansas. I'm looking for weird folk-art film/video of any genre, and ideally work that has not been recognized at festivals or has had few public showings. I'm also looking for visual performance artists that may live near or be able to travel to central Arkansas.

This post is mainly geared towards recommendations, but would certainly welcome submissions from anyone who may fit this mold. There is no fee or entry form, but please supply as much information as possible with a submitted DVD or VHS.

"ARKUFF" is a festival that mixes contemporary underground work with that of classic/historical underground artists. We will be screening the early films of David Lynch, Kenneth Anger and others in historical context. Last year we showed work by George Melies, Oscar Fischinger, Stan Brakhage, Andy Warhol, George Kuchar and many more.
