Kristie and Graeme:
Most of what I have are Acme parts -- 3 larger projectors, one small projector with 35mm shuttle, and an Oxberry 25AN animation camera from an Oxberry master stand. This is bigger than an Oxberry camera for a printer, but it could be adapted.
I suspect shipping it to the UK would be quite pricey. This stuff is built to last forever and weighs a lot.
Note that Acme and Oxberry stuff is very similar, but not quite the same. In the US, Oxberry was east coast, and Acme west (except for animation stands, where Oxberry ruled). Both designs are essentially stolen from the 1912 B&H 2709 Unit-I shuttle, which had fixed registration pins and very steady images.
The only 16mm projectors I have are Acmes, but these came from a very clean and expensive 3 headed printer (they are 16/35 projectors, obviously) and probably would run about $3000 for the smallest one with 16mm gate and sprockets and takeup. You'd have to add your own motor and drive system, as the big stepper on there was from an early automation system and I only have the motor, not the rest of the automation stuff.
I do have a set of wet gates, 16 and 35, for Acme projectors, but you probably don't need these.
Give me a better idea of what you are trying to do, and I'll see if I have anything that might work. I have been clearing off the shelves recently...
Best,
Jeff
