I think Your FIlm and The Lab, L. Bernard Happé, 1974, Focal Press is pretty
great if you can get a copy. It is very much done from a commercial point of
view (and quite old fashioned) but I found it really clear and useful all
round. Focal press still do these kind of industry manuals apparently.
