My reply (even if your post was not framed as a question) addressed,
again, a 'translation' issue.....
And there are BIG differences between facilities and colorists/technicians.
Really one reason I switched from 16mm to (1920 x 1080 "1,9K" &
capturing @ up to 4K ) digital, am looking toward working in 4K is
that on one hand HD etc can degrade 16mm;
but 16 is typically - subjective opinion - insufficient capture size
for what I wanted to get in the digital environment.
Zero sum game, loss either way. 35mm too much money, too much baggage,
not that 35/ 3 perf with good scanning would not look
terrific........... scanning to data format NOT "HD"
