Supposedly this is somewhat fixed on the model B version of the camera but I've never used that version in real life so have no idea how much better it is!
Wish I had the B model actually as this tends to drive me nuts on the cameras I use! I guess you can use a laptop and dv-rack or imovie or something to check the actual frame but then it's another thing you have to carry!
