Kodak used the names Kodachrome and Kodacolor early on, on filmstocks that bear no resemblance to what eventually became known as Kodacolor (color negative stock, consumer still) and Kodachrome (color transparency stock).
I believe there was a two-color Kodachrome that was tested -- likely this test -- and early Kodacolor was a 16mm reversal stock embossed with lenticular stripes that was shot and projected with a striped color filter. Circa 1930. I have an unshot roll of it somewhere.
