Alan Clarke. Wow. I saw a full (?) retro maybe fifteen years ago at PFA that was unbelievably great, some of the most interesting (narrative) films I've ever seen.
Speaking of TV, I've always been curious about composer Robert Ashley's work for television, as in many of his weird electronic spoken-word operas were somehow conceived for TV. But I've never seen them. Anyone...?
