Yes they do do this in the new york area. I took this workshop several years ago in Staten Island. Kodak conducted it in conjunction with Abel Cine Tech and we shot on some practically brand new Aaton cameras. It was a wonderful way to learn about shooting 16mm film, though the idea is to learn about various film stocks offered by Kodak in a practical way as opposed to just theoretically.

I have actually taught these from time to time if you are nearby when they have them it is great it is free and you get to shoot some film and they send you a dvd transfer bart
