if this is "not the place" for a simple joke (as supposed to an "art project across multiple posts"), because some people are too busy to keep up, then that's their loss. if people don't even take the effort, when replying to a reply, to see where that reply was based on, then this simply shows people's preoccupation with themselves -they read the word festival and start drooling- and don't have the interest or a second to spare to see what they were actually responding too. if people think humour isn't "useful" (which apparently it isn't because some people seem to lack it) or that it may only be exercised in designated places then that's their loss as well. thank you bernie and tony for being spontaneous and going against the all-controlling efficiency of today, which has even turned artists into boring people.
