cool, thnx Pip.
I think Andec also makes positives from Super 8 negs? Looks like they also do
blow-ups, so maybe that is helpful Freya as I think you are in Germany?
So I take it that Derann does not have a super 8 contact printer but a 35
instead... that is interesting... maybe Andec is doing the same thing? Does
Derann have a super 8 perforator? I'm confused how the positive would project
on a super 8 projector?
I didn't think it was possible to get super 8 print stock but maybe these labs
had some special arrangement. did kodak ever make a super 8 print stock? not
sure why it would have been necessary, pre- super 8 neg? people used to
x-process and print it?
i'm assuming that Freya has a super 8 reversal image? i was wondering if it
might be possible to make a direct positive onto a roll of raw super 8 reversal
using a super 8 contact printer? not sure how that would work with A wind/B
wind orientation though... ? doesn't matter if Andec doesnt have one i guess.
but, like i said, i believe that dragon at b/w film factory has one and perhaps
others?
Pip, do you know if Derann can make an interneg with that system instead of
threading the print stock and then strike a new print from that interneg? wow!
confusing but interesting to know what options are out there.
thanks again Pip. sorry for all the questions. i guess it really only matters
insofar as it helps Freya exhibit her project. I'm more just curious in
passing; dont mean to soak up yer time.

Kodak no longer makes super-8 print stock.
Derann in England makes super-8 prints four at a time by printing
onto, striping, recording on and cutting down 35mm print stock.
