Hi, i'll try and help but firstly will need to know a few things:
When you say film, do you mean film? If so how have you digitized it (with a handycam or telecine)? What did you edit it with? How have you exported it in? Where are you exporting it too on the internet? If you are exporting to youtube or vimeo have a look at the bellow links (these might help anyway even if you're not).
