hello all
& hope you don't mind me picking the collective brain again ...
wondering how much to charge for a day rate as cinematographer (for a doc with what sounds like a decent - pro, properly padded - budget) ...?
cheers! moira

I mean with private file transfers: a) the source computer has to be on the whole time the destination computer is downloading; b) you still have to make a torrent file and use torrent clients, which is more work than just using a service with a web interface.
Dropbox rocks. Everyone should have it. They give you like 2GB.
Alternatively, for large files, you can make a segmented RAR archive and upload the pieces to
Rapidshare or the like. Downloader programs like JDownloader will let the recipient download all the files automatically w/o having to attend to the waiting times for free users manually.
