I did a 48 hour film competition once. Although sadly my film didn't
make the final screening (it is all about how many people you bring to
the first screening.)
When we went to the "winners" screening, the organizers actually asked
why we showed up, they couldn't understand why anyone would go who
hadn't "won"
The very reason I don't participate in that "competition."
